Food services company Jubilant Foodworks Ltd reported an increase of 28.43 per cent in its net profit for the September quarter at Rs 23.67 crore against Rs 18.43 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.
The company has exclusive rights for operating the Domino's Pizza chain in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
It reported an increase of 47.15 per cent in its net sales for the quarter at Rs 240.31 crore (Rs 163.30 crore).
“Our plans to launch Dunkin' Donuts are progressing well and we are currently focused on building a robust foundation for the brand,” said Mr Hari S Bhartia, Co-Chairman, JFL.
The company's store count stands at 411 in 96 cities with 19 more added during the quarter. It plans to invest Rs 100 crore for opening 80 Domino outlets this fiscal, of which 33 have already been set up.
The company's scrip closed on the BSE at Rs 814.7 down 1.81 per cent compared to previous day's close.
