KEC International’s net profit for the June quarter was near flat at Rs 33 crore. Net sales were up 33 per cent at Rs 1,364 crore (Rs 1,023 crore). Employee benefit expenses rose to Rs 115 crore (Rs 97 crore). Order book was 17 per cent higher at Rs 9,462 crore. Ramesh Chandak, Managing Director, said, “We are delivering strong growth in our top-line continuously. In each of our previous four quarters, our growth rate is more than 25 per cent Y-o-Y.” On Wednesday, the company scrip closed 1.75 per cent down at Rs 56 on the BSE.
