Kalpataru Power Transmission and its subsidiary JMC Projects have secured overseas and domestic orders worth over Rs 1,810 crore.
Kalpataru Power, a global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) player in power and infrastructure contracting sector,
secured orders worth Rs 800 crore. This includes a Rs 549-crore order in Bhutan for supply and erection of 400 KV transmission lines for 160 km (funded by the Government of India) and an order from ONGC worth Rs 155 crore for replacing pipelines in Ahmedabad.
Its subsidiary JMC Projects has got orders worth of Rs 1,010 crore, comprising an EPC contract worth Rs 341 crore in Ethiopia, besides orders totalling Rs 669 crore for construction of residential towers, office complex and an exhibition centre.
Manish Mohnot, Executive Director, Kalapataru and JMC, said, “We have expanded very rapidly in international markets and currently over 50 per cent of our order book is from these markets. Kalpataru Power is currently executing large contracts in more than 15 countries and has a strong footprint in over 35 countries.”
