Alcobev company Kyndal on Thursday teamed up with Scotch whisky company Edrington to bottle Cutty Sark Scotch whisky in India.
The two companies have set up an equal joint venture company, Siddharth Banerjee, MD, Kyndal said, without divulging details on the initial capital invested.
David Pattinson, Area Director, India, Edrington, said although the brand is already available in India, this partnership will come out with new premium focused package for India.
Edrington is involved in blending, bottling, distributing and marketing. It produces blended brands such as The Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark and premium single malts The Macallan and Highland Park.
