The water and renewable energy business of L&T Construction has bagged orders valued at Rs 1,283 crore during July and August.
In a filing to the BSE, the company said that water supply distribution business along with NCC, its joint venture partner, has received an order for Rs 745 crore from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam for the Agra water supply project assisted by the Japan International Co-operation Agency.
This involves the construction of two parallel steel gravity mains of 2,100 mm diameter in the city. L&T’s share in this order is Rs 410 crore, the filing said.
The remaining orders include repeat orders for its waste water business from the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority and the Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation.
The project involves the construction of water and waste water infrastructure facilities for an upcoming IT city at Mohali, Punjab and industrial estates in Rohtak (Haryana), respectively.
