Luminous launches ION 500 Home UPS

Luminous Power Technologies (P) Limited on Monday said it has launched ION 500 Home UPS designed to cater to small retail shops. This would ensure long back-up and help save on electricity bills, the company said. “Its small size and light weight ensure ease of transport, thus making it a pertinent device for mass consumption. Providing the user freedom of choice in terms of battery being used, the product range also offers a battery-charging selection switch, according to the type of battery connected, thus avoiding overcharging of aged or faulty batteries,” Luminous Power said in a statement.
