Makemytrip on Tuesday launched a social application called Tripalong which will help users to connect with friends while travelling.
Users can enter details of their flights on the application and they will get notified if their travel plans are coinciding with that of their Facebook or LinkedIn friends.
Mr Keyur Joshi co-founder and chief operating officer of MakeMyTrip said, “This is a social application that will enhance the fun quotient of travellers. This will help us understand consumer behaviour and strengthen our brand presence.”
The app has been made by TenTenTen Digital Products.
The application allows users to link their Tripalong account with social networking sites. This will help friends to connect with each other if they are at the same city or check in together to get seats together on the plane.
