Consumer products maker Marico Limited today said that its group CFO Milind Sarwate has quit to pursue opportunities outside the group. He was with the company for last 16 years.
The maker of Saffola and Parachute oil, has informed the stock exchanges that his last working day with the company is March 31, 2014.
Sarwate, who joined the company for 1998, was instrumental in driving Marico's inorganic growth
agenda through acquisitions and alliances, both in India and abroad.
He also held roles in HR and IT in Marico apart from contributing to conceptualization of Ascent - the Non-Profit Organisation set up by promoter Harsh Mariwala to accelerate the scaling up of enterprise.
