Mercedes-Benz has beefed up its roadside assistance fleet, and added a series of initiatives such as setting up a National Remote Diagnostic Centre, and facilitating online service booking even through smart phones and tablets to enhance the ownership experience for its customers.

“Mercedes-Benz India is committed to a superlative service and after-sales programmes for customers,” said Eberhard Kern, MD and CEO. With the National Remote Diagnosis Centre, technical experts in Mercedes’ plant in Pune can assist technicians anywhere in India to diagnose problems faster using high-end technology.

To give better roadside assistance, the company has added 20 B-Class service support vehicles to its fleet. The On-Road Assistance programme offers round-the-clock breakdown assistance for three years as a standard offering.
