The Chennai-based Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation (Spic) has informed the stock exchange that Mr A.C. Muthiah has retired from the board of directors and has been appointed as Chairman Emeritus.
The announcement also says that his son, Mr Ashwin C. Muthiah has been appointed as the Chairman of the board.
Besides, Mr K.K. Rajagopalan has been appointed as an Additional Director and also as a whole time director of the company.
