NTPC pays 40% dividend for 2011-12

NTPC Ltd on Thursday said it has paid a total dividend of 40 per cent for 2011-12. This amounts to Rs 3,298.20 crore. Earlier, the public sector power producer paid Rs 348.37 crore as final dividend to the Government. NTPC had in February paid Rs 2,438.58 crore dividend.
