Natco Pharma has registered a net profit of Rs 17 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011, marginally up from Rs 15.94 crore in the comparative quarter.
According to unaudited results announced on Thursday, turnover was up 9 per cent at Rs 145 crore (Rs 133 crore) during the quarter under review. The growth has been driven by increased sale of active pharmaceutical intermediates and formulation exports.
The company's board has recommended an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share (Rs 2 per share during 2010), according to a company press release.
