Nestle India Ltd posted a 4.6 per cent growth in net profits for calendar 2013 at ₹1,117 crore on higher sales. In 2012, Nestle had earned a profit of ₹1,068 crore in India.
Sales during 2013 increased by 9.1 per cent to ₹9,062 crore. The domestic sales rose 7.1 per cent on the back of net realisations and volume growth in certain product categories, while exports were up by 47.1 per cent.
The board recommended a final dividend of ₹12.5 a share (125 per cent on face value ₹10 each) for 2013.
