New V-P for International Paper

International Paper has announced the appointment of Rampraveen Swaminathan, Managing Director and CEO, Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills (APPM) , as the Vice-President of International Paper (IP), effective March 1. The appointment was endorsed by the APPM board of directors. Ram is responsible for IP’s commercial and manufacturing operations in India, including the Rajahmundry and Kadiam mills. He was handling the IP/APPM integration efforts. He will continue to report to Mike Amick, President, IP India.
