Real estate firm Omaxe reported a five per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 19.03 crore during the first quarter against Rs 18.18 crore in the corresponding period last year. Income from operations grew by nine per cent to Rs 401.66 crore (Rs 368.30 crore). “Fresh bookings continued to remain steady with 1.66 million sq ft of booking during the quarter ended June. Sales have been good despite the challenging economic scenario,” Omaxe Chairman and Managing Director Rohtas Goel said in a statement.
