Opto Circuits (India) Ltd, manufacturer of medical equipment and interventional devices, today said its net profit declined by about 9.6 per cent to Rs 113 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.
The company’s net profit stood at Rs 125 crore in the same period last financial year, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
However, Opto Circuits’ total income from operations increased marginally to Rs 619 crore in the third quarter of this financial year compared to Rs 611 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of the company today closed at Rs 67.05 apiece on the BSE, down 2.05 per cent from its previous day’s close.
