Power Finance Corporation (PFC) on Friday said its second quarter net profit increased 23 per cent to Rs 1,274 crore.
It had reported a Rs 1,036-crore net for the same quarter last fiscal year.
Income from operations rose 27 per cent to touch Rs 5,337 crore (Rs 4,191 crore).
“While PFC loan assets increased from Rs 140,819 crore to Rs 172,051 crore, net worth is up 16 per cent from Rs 21,291 crore to Rs 24,597 crore during this period.
Net non-performing assets (NPAs) as a percentage of loan assets stood at 0.54 per cent,” PFC said.
