Home textile manufacturer Pradip Overseas Ltd (POL) today announced the launch of its domestic retail brand MYCK here. “The launch offers a range of 500 plus home furnishing products, which shall be made available from 1,500 outlets across the country,” POL Chairman, Mr Pradip Karia, told newsmen. “The investment in product development so far has been close to Rs 50-55 crore,” he said. “The unorganised home textile segment is around Rs 10,000 crore out of which the branded market is only five per cent, 95 per cent of the market is unbranded, so there is huge opportunity there,” Mr Karia said. “We target a Rs 200 crore share in the home furnishing segment with the launch of this brand,” he added. The company so far had been manufacturing products for other leading home textile brands in the country.
