Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd has recorded a 33 per cent increase in net sales at Rs 302 crore from 228 crore for the quarter ended September 30. Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 43 crore, compared with Rs 31 crore in the corresponding quarter due to a one-time tax help of Rs 13 crore accounted this quarter, according to a press release issued by the company.

Feminine Care by grew by recording 33 per cent sales growth and 48 per cent volume growth this quarter. Growth in this category was driven by high levels of promotional and marketing initiatives amidst new category entrants. The health care category witnessed 19 per cent sales growth and 17 per cent volume growth this quarter.
