PowerGrid net dips 3% to ₹1,201 cr

Power Grid Corporation of India, on a standalone basis, has posted a three per cent dip in net profit to ₹1,201 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared with ₹1,239 crore in the same period last year. Total income increased to ₹4309.26 crore (₹4,104.43 crore). On Tuesday, the company scrip closed 0.51 per cent lower at ₹147.45 on the BSE.
