Rane TRW Steering Systems Ltd (RTSSL), the flagship company of the Rane Group, Chennai, inaugurated its new expanded line for manufacturing valves for passenger car segment at its Viralimali unit on Madurai-Trichy highway, recently.
The line was officially inaugurated by Prof. Yasutoshi Washoi, Deming Award winner and Guru of Ttoal Quality Management (TQM) in the presence of Mr. G. Parthipan, President, RTSSL. .
According to Mr. G. Parthipan, President, RTSSL , the company has been constantly striving for improvements and the new expanded line established for manufacturing steering gear valves using Lean Production System , incorporating process laden manufacturing approach is a significant indicator of the endeavor to constantly innovate and transform according to the needs of the customers.
With the commissioning of this line, RTSSL has further strengthened its position as the leader in manufacturing steering gears in a most cost efficient manner, the releaer said..
