Reliance Retail, subsidiary of RIL, has posted revenues (consolidated) from operations of Rs 7,599 crore for the financial year 2011-12, representing a growth of 25 per cent over the previous year, according to the company's annual report. The report added that despite macro-economic conditions most of the retail formats have delivered well over 20 per cent same store sales growth.
Reliance Fresh, Reliance Super, Reliance Mart, Delight and Autozone, which add up to 700 stores, have contributed to a dominant share of retail space and revenue from operations. Reliance Retail's joint venture with Marks and Spencer has witnessed 20 per cent same store sales growth and has doubled its retail space in FY 2011-12, the report said.
