Royal Classic Groups, apparel manufacturer and owner of the brand Classic Polo, has launched a new line of menswear under the brand CP-BRO. The range, targeted at the young urban men, will include shirts, T-shirts, trouser and denim wear.
Announcing the launch in Chennai, TR Sivaram, Managing Director of the group, said designs, colours, washes, chiselled fit and the feel of the garment will be the USP (unique selling proposition) of the brand CP-BRO.
“In the last decade, the Indian fashion industry has moved much above where it was before. Thanks to the contribution by fashion designers, the industry has come on a par with international standards,” he said.
Sivaram is confident that the new range, positioned in the mid-premium segment ( ₹1,000-2,500), will garner a “substantial” share in the fashion segment. Royal Classic is a ₹500-crore company, with more than ₹350 crore coming from its export business.
It makes over a million pieces of apparel a month for international brands including GAP, Banana Republic, Blue Navy, BabyVision and Tom Tailor. The group is fully integrated – from cotton cultivation to retailing.
