TouchTalent.com, an online marketplace for creative talent, has raised about $7,00,000 as seed funding from venture capital and private equity firm SAIF Partners and 15 angel investors.

The list of angel investors includes Makemytrip founder Deep Kalra, Flipkart co-founders Sachin and Binny Bansal, Cassandra co-creator and early team member at Facebook Prashant Malik, Slide Share co-founder Amit Ranjan and investors from LetsVenture platform.

Started in April 2012, TouchTalent.com is a community of creative individuals. The New Delhi-based company gets half-a-million monthly visits on web and equal number of downloads on Android platforms.

It expects the number of visitors to grow to a million in the forthcoming quarter with each user visiting about 10 pages and spending an average of 5 minutes on the platform.

“We liked the passion with which the TouchTalent.com team is building the business. We think there is a pain point to be solved from the perspective of content creators. The idea of participating in the journey of creating a global product out of India is what appealed to us at SAIF Partners,” said Mukul Singhal, Principal at SAIF Partners.
