Indore-based Shakti Pumps, on a standalone basis, has doubled its net profit at ₹10 crore (₹5 crore) for the quarter-ended March 31, 2014. Total income was ₹98 crore (₹51 crore). The board has recommended a final dividend of 20 per cent or ₹2 per share of ₹10 face value. For the full year, on a consolidated basis, total income was ₹302 crore (₹215 crore) and net profit was ₹25 crore(₹17 crore). On Wednesday, the company scrip closed 6.71 per cent higher at ₹99.35 on the BSE.
