SsangYong Motor on sales overdrive

SsangYong Motor, Mahindra and Mahindra’s Korean unit, has posted a net profit of 1.5 billion won for the quarter ended September, compared with a net loss of 13.7 billion won recorded during the same period a year ago. The company posted an operating profit of 700 million won in its third quarter, after turning profitable in the sequential quarter. The third quarter results were driven by a sales growth in its Korando family of products.
