Sundram Fasteners has posted a 5.7 per cent dip in first quarter net profit at Rs 29.45 crore, from Rs 31.24 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total income dropped 10 per cent to Rs 523.53 crore (Rs 581.98 crore).
Earnings per share for the quarter amounted to Rs 1.40 (Rs 1.49), said the company release.
Exports dropped to Rs 175 crore (Rs 183 crore).
Share price closed 2.57 per cent lower on the BSE on Wednesday at Rs 34.10.
