Suven Life Sciences’ net profit more than doubled at ₹32.4 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014, compared with ₹8.6 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue grew by 75 per cent at ₹132 crore (₹75 crore). For the full year, it posted ₹144 crore net profit (₹31 crore) on a revenue of ₹513 crore (₹258 crore).
The board had proposed a dividend of 50 paise a share (50 per cent of face value ₹1 each) with an additional special silver jubilee year dividend of ₹2 a share (200 per cent of face value) aggregating to ₹2.50 a share for the financial year 2013-14, subject to approvals.
Its scrip lost 0.95 per cent on the BSE on Thursday to close at ₹93.85.
