Suzlon Energy Ltd has secured cumulative new orders worth 85 MW in India.
According to Mr Tulsi R. Tanti, Chairman and Managing Director, the orders reflect the confidence of its customers in its products and services.
The company has bagged the contracts from a broad range of customers in corporate, PSU and small/medium business segments.
Key customers, who have placed orders include, GAIL India Ltd for 14.7 MW comprising seven units of Suzlon’s S88 - 2.1 MW wind turbines to be commissioned in Gujarat within six months from the date of order.
Other contracts are from Khatau Narbheram & Co, Oswal Group, KRBL Ltd and Varun Industries Ltd.
The company said that more than 40 per cent of these were repeat orders.
