The kitchen appliances maker TTK Prestige Ltd has defied the general slowdown fears, notching up a 69 per cent growth in sales in the first two months of the current fiscal compared to the corresponding period last year.
The company has also completed the process of land acquisition in Gujarat where it is establishing new manufacturing facilities.
In a communication to the BSE today, the company said that during the period from April 1 to May 31, 2011, the growth in turnover was more than 69 per cent compared to the corresponding period in the previous year- from Rs 93.79 crore to Rs. 158.80 crore.
It has completed acquisition of over 60 acres of land in Vadodara district in Gujarat and was in the process of obtaining necessary clearances for setting up manufacturing facilities. Work on the development of residential cum office complex at Dooravaninagar, Bangalore has just commenced
