After 12 long years at TVS Motor Company, H. S. Goindi, President, Marketing, has quit the company.
Goindi wishes to pursue interests outside the company and will be relieved by March 31, said the company.
The management of TVS Motor Company in a statement said that it has accepted his request and acknowledges the efforts put in by him for the success of the company during his tenure. No immediate replacement has been announced.
“I have had a wonderful journey at TVS. It is time to explore other interests. There are a few opportunities which are being worked out,” 54-year-old Goindi told
Goindi joined TVS Motor in 2001, when TVS was parting ways with Suzuki. He built the international business and three-wheeler project business at the company from scratch, before being appointed Head, sales, service and marketing in 2008. A couple of years later, he was elevated as President, marketing.
Goindi has been a part of the senior management on the company board.
Prior to this, Goindi was Head of sales and marketing at Mahindra Holidays. In a career spanning 30 years, he also had a stint at Tube Investments, donning various roles across operations, marketing, manufacturing and exports.
Goindi is an alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering and an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad.
