Tata Communications has teamed up with Kaltura, a New York-based software company that allows publishers and content owners to publish, manage, and analyse their video and other rich media content, in a deal that would combine Tata Communications’ next generation Content Delivery Network with Kaltura’s leading open source online video platform.
The integrated offering would enable media companies, enterprises and educational institutions to manage the entire video process, from acquisition to delivery, through a single easy-to-use interface.
Online and mobile consumption is changing the landscape of audience engagement in terms of the way people view media and entertainment, work and learn. Consumers expect the best possible digital experience when viewing content, regardless of device and geographic location.
Given how complicated the video workflow and distribution can be for content providers, Tata Communications and Kaltura have combined to offer the industry an end-to-end, cloud-based video platform.
