Tata Motors has increased the prices of its passenger vehicles.
The hike ranges from Rs 7,000 to Rs 12,000 across models, a company spokesperson said.
Prices of the Tata Nano and the Tata Aria have not been raised.
The price increase, effective Thursday, was attributed to the rising input costs. Other players have increased their car prices over the past month.
Tata Motors is due to announce its results for the third quarter next week. The company's stock closed at a yearly high of Rs 262 on Friday.
