Tata Advanced Systems Ltd, a Tata Sons subsidiary, has acquired a majority stake in Aurora Integrated Systems Ltd.
PXV Law Partners advised its client, Aurora Integrated Systems and its promoters, to sell out to Tata group’s Tata Advanced Systems (TASL).
AZB and Partners assisted the in-house legal team of TASL, which is the wholly owned aircraft and defence systems subsidiary of Tata Sons. Bangalore-based Aurora has systems that encompass short range small unmanned aerial vehicle system to long range tactical systems, rapidly deployable aerostat systems, and technologies in inertial navigation.
The company was started by a team of seven graduates from IIT-Kanpur involved in developing and manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for civil and defence markets.
