Three workers were injured in an accident at the phase-III project site at MRPL (Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd) here on Friday. The incident occurred at around 5.30 p.m.
A company spokesperson said here that a steam leak in the power plant being built by BHEL in the project caused injury to three contract workers.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Mangalore city.
The spokesperson said that operations in all units of MRPL, including phase-III and its power plant, continued to operate normally.
