Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Thursday said the backlog of orders is expected to clear faster. This is possible as the company has increased production of vehicles in its factories recently.
The company's Deputy Managing Director, Mr Sandeep Singh, told newspersons at a press conference here that the “waiting time'' for Fortuner as well as Etios sedan have been halved with the production of vehicles crossing 2.1 lakh units.
Earlier, Mr Singh said that cricketer Virat Kohli has been appointed the brand ambassador of the company.
“He brings with him all the emotions that Toyota aims to offer its customers through its vehicles – passion, exuberance, energy, fun and excitement,” he said.
