Unichem Laboratories has posted a standalone net profit of Rs 14.84 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011.
The net profit stood at Rs 33.89 crore during the same period previous fiscal, Unichem Laboratories said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
During the quarter under review, the total standalone income stood at Rs 178.10 crore against Rs 173.84 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Net profit for the year ended March 31, 2011 rose to Rs 108.49 crore from Rs 133.94 crore during the same period previous fiscal. On a standalone basis, the total income stood at Rs 764.73 (Rs 690.59 crore).
In a separate filing to the BSE, the company said its board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.80 per share of face value of Rs 2 per share.
