VA Tech Wabag an integrated water management company has reported a 16 per cent drop in net profit on a consolidated basis for the second quarter of the current year as compared with the corresponding quarter previously.
For the quarter ended September 30, 2014 Wabag has reported a net profit of ₹ 14.21 crore (₹ 17.01 crore) on a total income of ₹ 506.96 crore (₹ 465.54 crore).
On a segmental basis domestic revenue for the quarter has shown a marginal growth during the quarter to ₹ 158.32 crore (₹ 156.87 crore) while the overseas contribution has grown 15 per cent to ₹ 366.43 crore (₹ 319.08 crore).
On a standalone basis the net profit for the quarter was ₹ 11.64 crore (₹ 17.02 crore) on a total income of ₹ 236.09 crore (₹ 219.89 crore).
