VW Vento diesel to turn costlier

Volkswagen, on Monday, announced a 2.2 per cent increase in the price of the Vento diesel sedan from July 1, to offset the rising input costs. Mr Neeraj Garg, Member of Board & Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India, said, “We have seen no relent in the input costs over several months now which has forced us to increase the cost of the Vento.”
