In a unique step towards women empowerment, Vodafone India has launched a ‘Vodafone Angel store’ in Mumbai, which is managed and run completely by women employees.
This initiative is in line with Vodafone's endeavour of encouraging diversity and inclusion at the workplace. Centrally located at Appasaheb Marathe Marg, Prabhadevi, the store now has the distinction of being the first among Vodafone's retail outlets in the country.
Arvind Vohra, Business Head, Mumbai Circle, Vodafone, said, “We believe economic empowerment of women is a great building block in social development.”
