Wendt Q3 profit down 13.7%

Wendt India has registered 13.79 per cent lower profit at Rs 2.50 crore on a consolidated basis for the third quarter of 2013-14 compared with Rs 2.90 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenues were flat (-0.62 per cent) at Rs 25.63 crore compared with Rs 25.79 crore in the same quarter last year, while EPS stood at Rs 12.50 (Rs 14.50). Its segment-wise revenues were super abrasives Rs 18.16 crore (last year Rs 16.25 crore), machines, accessories and components Rs 4.30 crore (Rs 6.69 crore) and others Rs 2.98 crore (Rs 2.72 crore).
