Power and automation technologies major ABB has posted 18.75-per cent increase in net profit at ₹57 crore during the second quarter of calendar year 2015against ₹48 crore during the same period last year.
Revenues were up 6.03 per cent at ₹1,932 crore ( ₹1,822 crore) reflecting efficient execution and conversion of order backlog across divisions.
“Over the last few years, the company’s initiatives towards operational excellence have been yielding results, fortifying margins,” Bazmi Husain, Managing Director, ABB India, said.
“We have delivered a steady performance in a market where investments are still to gather momentum. This is a result of our relentless efforts on execution and focus on customers and costs,” he added.
The company received orders worth ₹1,895 crore in the reporting quarter.
