ABB has registered 78.14 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 38.07 crore during the third quarter of this calendar year (2013). Profits have been boosted to the tune of Rs 2.46 crore with the amalgamation of Baldor Electric India.
The company’s revenues were down by 1.25 per cent at Rs 1,785.90 crore during the same quarter, while EPS stood at Rs 1.68 (Rs 1.01).
Segment-wise revenues:
Power systems clocked Rs 453.29 crore (Rs 505.50 crore), power products Rs 519.50 crore (Rs 515.06 crore), process automation Rs 300.84 crore (Rs 313.60 crore), discrete automation and motion Rs 455.38 crore (417.95 crore) and low voltage products Rs 173.33 crore (Rs 153.93 crore).
