Cement maker ACC on Thursday reported an over five per cent increase in sales for the month of November at 1.83 million tonnes.
The company had sold 1.74 million tonnes cement in the same month last year.
Production also rose to 1.83 million tonnes in November this year compared to 1.76 million tonnes in the corresponding month last year, ACC said in a statement.
ACC’s cumulative sales during the January-November period of the current year stood at 21.59 million tonnes over 19.24 million tonnes in the year-ago period.
Production also grew to 21.63 million tonnes against 19.23 million tonnes recorded in January-November period of the last year.
