Solar power developer ACME said on Friday that it has won bids for developing 200 MW of solar power projects under the auctions conducted by SECI and NTPC in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, respectively.
“After bagging this tender, our overall portfolio has expanded to 1,519 MW,” said Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, Founder & Chairman of ACME.
In the SECI tender, ACME has won 150 MW out of 400 MW on offer at a fixed tariff of ₹ 4.43 a unit along with a viability gap funding of ₹ 55 lakh per MW. The company will commission the project within 13 months from the date of signing of the PPA with SECI.
In the NTPC tender, ACME has won 50 MW at a tariff of ₹ 4.67 a unit for 25 years.
ACME’s portfolio of 1,519 MW includes 490 MW in Telangana, 310 MW in Andhra Pradesh, 104 MW in Punjab, 100 MW in Rajasthan and other projects across states. By March 2017, the company aims to commission 960 MW of solar power projects.
