Adani Group's flagship company, Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), on Wednesday reported a standalone net profit of Rs 65 crore on a total income of Rs 2,012.36 crore for the quarter ended March 2016.
For the fiscal 2015-16, company has posted a net profit of Rs 496 crore on total income of Rs 8,148.86 crore.
The quarterly and year-end financial numbers are not comparable with the corresponding period due to the demerger of ports, power and transmission businesses of AEL from April 1, 2015.
On a consolidated basis, AEL has reported a net profit of Rs 167 crore for the quarter under review with total operational income at Rs 10,950 crore.
For the fiscal 2015-16, consolidated total income from operations stood at Rs 44,023 crore with a net profit of Rs 1,041 crore. Consolidated EBIDTA for the year stood at Rs 3,114 crore.
AEL shares fell 8 per cent to close at Rs 79.05 on the NSE.
