Adani Group, on Monday, announced signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to train three lakh youth in the country by 2022. As part of the agreement, over 40,000 youth will be trained and assisted towards attaining employment per year, a spokesman of the $12-billion diversified group said here. To be spearheaded by the Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC) in partnership with the NSDC, the initiative is the brainchild of Adani Foundation, philanthropic arm of the Adani Group. Also, ASDC is partnering with IIT-Bombay for training material and certification to facilitate IT skills among beneficiaries, said Jatin Trivedi, Head- Skill Development, Adani Foundation.
