Adani Transmission Ltd, a part of the $10-billion Adani Group, on Tuesday reported a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 80 crore and total income of Rs 529 crore during the third quarter of 2015-16, ended December 31, 2015.
The company is the largest private sector transmission firm in India with over 5,000 circuit kms of operational transmission lines across western and northern regions along with 12,000 MVA transformation capacity. It was listed last year after restructuring of the Adani Group companies, a spokesman said here.
Gautam Adani, Chairman, said with the thrust announced by the government in the tariff policy on optimum development of transmission network ahead of generation and attracting investments in transmission sector, ATL is poised to leverage the benefits of new opportunities and create value for its stakeholders.
