American clothing brand Aeropostale has made its debut in India with opening of its first store in New Delhi in collaboration with Arvind Lifestyle Brands.
The brand plans to have about 30 standalone stores and 25 shop-in-shop locations over the next three years. Known for its casual style, Aeropostale is targeted at 14-25 year-old consumer segment.

Having understood this, we are glad to add power players like Aéropostale as additions to our already fast growing fashion portfolio. This young consuming class has new aspirations and is more open to experimenting with fashion brands.”
