The Danube Group, known for its wide range of products, is likely to open shop in Hyderabad.
Speaking after the launch of the IKEA store in Hyderabad, Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries and IT, said: “Hyderabad has become an attractive destination for retail companies and soon Danube group will follow suit by setting up its store close to Ikea’s, most probably on a leased facility.” The Dubai-based Group has diversified interests that includes building materials and home decor.
Making an aggressive pitch for Hyderabad, Ranjan called upon companies to finalise their plans and that State would facilitate their plans to set up base in the State.
